Covid 19 Update

Although the restrictions on leisure activities are diminishing, we need to follow the latest guidance from the Scottish Government and exercise due common sense and caution during your stay.  Please ensure you have checked the most recent relevant regulations applicable to you, your location and the make-up of your party, a it is your responsibility to comply.

The most up to date information on transport and travel can be found on the dedicated Scottish Government webpage.

If you are unable to travel to take your holiday because of a Covid 19 related national or local lockdown regulations we guarantee you will get a full refund. Please note that the refund guarantee applies only to the address given on the booking at the time of booking being put into a lockdown, and when the travel restriction coincides with the period of your holiday. The refund guarantee covers national and local lockdowns but does not cover you (or members of your party) for being unable to travel because you (or a member of your party) falls ill with Covid, or are required to quarantine or self isolate. These events can be covered by you taking out travel insurance. There are a number of policies that include cover for illness with Covid and self isolation and a lot of bank annual travel policies also cover this.

If while at Greenwood Retreat a guest develops symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay (a continuous cough, high temperature, or loss or change in taste and smell), they should immediately book a test through NHS Inform or, if they can’t get online. by phoning 0800 028 2816.

In accordance with Test and Protect, people with symptoms are required to self-isolate for 10 days, and everyone in their household should isolate for 10 days. If the test is negative, everyone can end isolation. If the test is positive, everyone should continue to isolate, and the NHS Test and Protect team will be in touch to start contact tracing. Those contacted through the Test and Protect programme will be required to self-isolate for at least 10 days.

If guests who are isolating can travel home safely to isolate, avoiding the use of public transport, they should do this.

In the event that this is not possible, the guest should discuss this with the NHS Test and Protect team. The guest may be signposted to the National Assistance Helpline on 0800 111 4000 if they need help to isolate and cannot arrange it themselves or through friends and family.

We are keen to ensure that guests at Greenwood Retreat and residents of Ardnamurchan both feel safe. Please check the West Highland Peninsulas Covid Charter for information on how, as visitors and tourism businesses, we can all play our part in protecting one another.
