Surrounded by sea on three sides, Ardnamurchan lives up to its Gaelic name's sake, Àird nam Murchan, meaning headland of the great seas.
It has an untamed beauty with golden sandy beaches, temperate rainforest, gentle hills and abundant wildlife.
